❝ 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞. ❞

*𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐯*

(Y/N) flew as fast as her wings could take her towards the mysterious powerful aura. When the aura was just 5 feet away from her she could see a huge mess, a huge frozen wave of purple covered what seemed to be a castle, what was once a castle anyway.

Stopping, she let her wings flap to stay into the sky. Eyes wide, she saw the only Ten Commandments standing on top of it and staring right at her as if they have been expecting her. Sighing, she lectured herself on being stupid enough not being able to recognize ten of the auras that she had to fight.

The Commandments stared at her for a bit longer until Zeldris, the leader of the Ten Commandments, opened his dark wings and flew towards her. (Y/N), who became alarmed of the commandments sudden action, quickly flew up higher. It's not like she was afraid of them, actually, it's quite the opposite, she just doesn't want to fight more than she already has.

Deciding that it would be useless to just talk it out, she decided to do what she thought she would never do, run away from a fight. However, before she could even go a couple of feet away, Zeldris and the other commandments flew towards her, surrounding (Y/N) in a circle.

(Y/N) looked around for any possible escape but found none, and going under and up was defiantly a no go for her, her wings were never the fastest to top it off, and there's was defiantly faster than hers.

A voice caused (Y/N) to turn to her left, it was Zeldris.  "Hello, (Y/N). Never thought I would see you again. When was the last time we saw each other? Ah yes, the day before the war when you tried to kill me, but you couldn't go through with it because, as you said, you'll leave it for the war." Their eyes locked together as her heart started beating from the adrenaline that was coursing through her veins, why was it doing that out of all time? Well, (Y/N) was always strange.

Galand The Commandment of Truth, with his deep robotic voice said,  "(Y/N), running away from your friends now, don't tell me from all these years you became a coward." Turning her eyes towards him, (Y/N) frowned.

 "Of course not Galand, though the war has long ended with you demons being sealed, with your arrival I fear another Holy War will happen and I wish to partake in none of it. Unlike the other Holy War, I was always in the middle of everything, so in this one, I wish to not partake and have no contact with anything that has to do with this upcoming war. " 

Gloxinia chuckled, covering his mouth lazily while his beautifully colored wings keeping him floating in the sky that, somehow, has become dark, very different from what she saw a minute ago. Feeling something amiss, (Y/N) put her guard even higher, letting nothing get past her senses. 

 "(Y/N), you'll always be in the center of everything that includes violence, that's how you always were, though we know that that's not what you want there's no avoiding it, its destiny for you to live your dying days in the war." Gloxinia said, with a lazy smile ending his sentence.

Furrowing her eyebrows, (Y/N) thought of a plan to get out of there before anything else escalated any further, suddenly a plan formed, however, that chances of success were slim yet not impossible, and that was good enough for her.

Making her wings cover her body, (Y/N) began to twirl around soon causing a mini-tornado. That was easy to handle for the commandments yet they couldn't see her true plan that was soon to be won.

Underneath her wings, (Y/N) smirked in anticipation, barely being able to handle her excitement for the oncoming events. To the surprise of the commandments, a bright light came from inside the mini-tornado causing the commandments to shield themselves, using this to her advantage (Y/N) quickly opened her wings with the strength of the mini-tornado making everyone back away allowing her to make her escape.

Flapping her wings quickly and powerfully, (Y/N) flew up to the sky and then head straight towards the mountains that were a good 200 miles away from the Ten Commandments. Quickly masking her aura for no one would find her, (Y/N) headed for the mountains to hide for a while.

²⁰⁰ ᵐⁱˡᵉˢ ˡᵃᵗᵉʳ

Arriving at snow-covered mountains and cliffs, I flew around to see if I could find a place to shield myself from the coldness of this region. After flying around for 10 minutes I found a mountain with a door in the middle of it.

Quickly landing in front of the door, I turned the knob and pushed forward the door opened. I looked around to see tables made out of stone with stone chairs surrounding them, the place had a light of course. I looked up to see a short orange-haired and orange mustache guy with glasses and a green tux. The man looked at me and quickly screamed, shielding himself from me with his arms, which isn't very effective if you ask me.

I smiled, how am I going to do this. Should I scare him into taking me in or killing him? Though something caught my attention was the delicious smell of alcohol, something that I haven't drunk in years! Immediately forgetting about my former thoughts about killing him, I put on the friendliest smile I could muster.

  "Hello, sir may I get a drink? These past few days have been stressful for me." I said, putting a hand over my head to make it more dramatic. The man blushed and immediately nodded. He went towards the barrels that were filled with various drinks and got a cup from under the counter.

Filling it up I walked towards the counter and the man handed me it, living it up towards my lips I drank it, after going down my throat it left a burning sensation but I completely ignored it, I just continued to drink.

After I was done I slammed it onto the counter making the bartender jump and quickly turn towards me, alarmed. I just smiled again and with a happy tone, I said,  "Say, mister, what about this. If I help you around the tavern and protect you, you'll let me stay here until I break the deal, what do you think." The man looked at me so confused, so I decided to elaborate.

 "Well mister, there will soon be a war since The Coffin of Eternal Darkness that kept the demons sealed away has been broken and the world is slowly getting into a state of panic of fear of a second Holy War. You seem weak, and I'm strong, I'll be able to protect you if anything happens, so what do you say?" 

The man seemed hesitant, though he nodded, in the end, sticking out his right hand.  "I'm Escanor."  "I'm (Y/N), nice to be doing business with you." I gripped his hand and shook it.

 I would have never thought this would mean that I would officially and permanently be in the middle of the war. This simple deal broke everything I promised myself without realizing it.
